  • Do I need a VR headset to use LingoIZ?

    Not at all! LingoIZ works perfectly on mobile, tablet, or computer. Our VR edition (LingoIZ VR) is optional for immersive practice on Meta Quest 2 or 3.

  • Is there a placement test?

    Yes, every new learner takes a short placement quiz so we can tailor your lessons to your current level and goals.

  • What levels does LingoIZ cover?

    From beginner (A1) to advanced (C1) — the system adapts dynamically to your skill level.

  • Can I focus on business or academic English?

    Absolutely. LingoIZ builds personalized study paths for your goals — career, exams, or daily conversation.

  • Is speaking practice included?

    Yes, Premium members enjoy real-time AI roleplays that respond to your voice, vocabulary, and tone.

  • I’m a beginner — is this right for me?

    Definitely! LingoIZ starts with basics and grows with you through six proficiency levels.

  • How much time should I study daily?

    As all materials are online, you can go through them at your own pace, and it can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months to complete based on your approved level, subscription plan and most importantly how much time you spend daily to learn. Recommended daily time for using LINGOIZ is at least 30 minutes.

  • How will I learn vocabulary and grammar?

    Vocabulary, Grammar and Pronunciation are three minor skills in learning a language. In LINGOIZ software you’ll learn most of them through the contexts and there is no traditional way of learning them directly.

    There is an important fact in learning English. Just knowing words and grammar doesn’t necessarily mean knowing that specific language. Every language learner needs to communicate a language, not learn a language like a linguist.

    When it comes to learning how to speak a language, CONFIDENCE is number one item to succeed than being worried about accuracy. In our platform, grammar is just used as a sub-player in the Learn Space activities.

  • Does LingoIZ prepare me for IELTS®, TOEFL®, or CELPIP®?

    It builds your core fluency, listening, and speaking skills — the foundation for any official exam.

  • How effective is LingoIZ?

    In learning a language, “practice” is the first and foremost important factor for success. As more time you spend on resources and reviewing them, you would surely have higher ability in that language.

    However, the exercises and simulated situations have designed by experienced linguists and IT exports. The main materials of LINGOIZ have been compiled by Crosscut academic committee since 2017 called Situational Conversation Coursebooks. By the end of 2024, more than 39,000 English learners have graduated from this system.

    The only thing you need, is being committed to do your daily practice, and devoting your time regularly to pick up language deeper and sooner.

  • The app feels slow or freezes.
    • Close other heavy apps or tabs.
    • Switch to a stronger Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
    • Ensure your app or browser is up to date.
